Your impact as Product Owner

Working from the office in 's Hertogenbosch, you'll be the driving force behind FSSC's digital portals that support their global certification schemes. As the vital link between worldwide business partners and the development team, you'll ensure FSSC's products deliver maximum value to both the organisation and end users. You'll report to Kaushik Niyogi, Manager Software Engineering & Architecture.

In this role, you're responsible for:

• Defining the product vision that aligns with FSSC's strategy through close collaboration with business teams and stakeholders
• Creating, prioritising and refining the Product Backlog with clear, actionable user stories
• Developing and monitoring the product roadmap with feature releases and milestones
• Coordinating production releases and ensuring smooth delivery with acceptable quality.
• Collaborating closely with the development team of 13 professionals
• Actively participating in Agile ceremonies and processes
• Identifying potential risks and resolving obstacles with appropriate escalation

About Foundation FSSC

Since 2009, Foundation FSSC has been the leading, non-profit, and independent provider of certification Schemes for ISO-aligned Management Systems.

More than 37.500 organizations worldwide, including premium A-brands, are certified to the FSSC 22000 Scheme for Food Safety Management Systems. The FSSC 24000 Social Sustainability Scheme was published in 2022. Both certification Schemes contribute to FSSC's vision to create a better world by helping organizations contribute to the SDGs. FSSC employs about 55 professionals. Half of them work in the Netherlands, the rest from other locations in the world.

Presently FSSC is in the process of rebuilding its application landscape to better support its own users as well as its Licensed Partners (Certification Bodies) and other stakeholders.

Your profile

You are a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills who can translate complex business needs into clear product requirements. You thrive in an international environment and enjoy finding the perfect balance between business demands and technical possibilities.

To succeed in this role, you have:

• Experience in agile development environments, preferably with "no code" platforms
• Agile Product Owner certification (CSPO/PSPO or similar)
• Experience in a B2B environment and business analysis
• Excellent presentation skills and English language proficiency
• An assertive nature with strong leadership and decision-making abilities
• The flexibility to work independently from home and in the office

A degree in business or product management is preferred, and experience in audits and certification schemes would be an asset.
