UI/UX Designer - Healthcare Sector

Qualitest looking for a skilled UI/UX Designer with experience in healthcare or medical domain to join our team. You will design user-friendly and compliant interfaces for medical software, devices, and platforms that improve healthcare experience for clinicians and patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research with doctors, nurses, and patients to understand their needs.
  • Analyze clinical workflows and apply human factors engineering principles.
  • Design wireframes, prototypes, and final UI for medical software and devices.
  • Ensure all designs meet regulatory standards (FDA, HIPAA, IEC 62366, WCAG).
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and compliance teams.
  • Perform usability testing and refine designs based on real-world feedback.

Prefer To-Have

  • 3–7 years of UI/UX design experience (minimum 2 years in healthcare/medical domain).
  • Proficient in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Axure, or similar tools.
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, and front-end frameworks for collaboration with developers.
  • Familiar with medical standards: FDA Human Factors, IEC 62366, HIPAA, WCAG.
  • Knowledge of EHR/EMR systems, clinical workflows, and patient journey mapping.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with AI healthcare apps, telehealth platforms, or medical robotics.
  • Background in cognitive psychology or human factors engineering.
  • Familiarity with design systems for FDA-regulated products (Class II/III).
