User Experience Designer

We’re seeking a UI/UX Designer with a strong focus on UI design craft to join our team in Toronto. This role is all about creating intuitive, visually engaging interfaces that balance functionality and design excellence. You’ll collaborate with product managers, developers, and designers to bring ideas to life while evolving our design system.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• Translate requirements and user needs into high-fidelity UI designs
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready assets for web & mobile
• Evolve and maintain our design system for consistency across products
• Collaborate with developers to ensure design fidelity
• Apply usability and accessibility principles while focusing on visual polish
• Stay current on industry trends, tools, and best practices

✅ Must-Have Skills

• Proven professional experience in UI/UX design with a strong portfolio
• Advanced proficiency with Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD (or similar)
• Strong grasp of typography, color, layout, and hierarchy
• Experience working with and evolving design systems
• Knowledge of responsive/adaptive design for web & mobile
• Excellent communication skills to present design decisions clearly

➕ Nice-to-Have Skills

• Basic front-end knowledge (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Experience with dashboards/complex workflows
• Motion & interaction design skills (micro-animations, transitions)
• Familiarity with usability testing/research
• Awareness of AI-driven design tools
