Senior Backend Engineer

In a system where waiting times for therapists can reach up to 48 days and many people can't even afford care, Yuna is the answer to immediate mental health support needs.

Position Overview

We are looking for a backend or full stack engineer to support in building our suite of mental health tools.

As a startup, we understand that our key advantage is executing fast and adapting to the needs of our customer. Because of this, each member is treated as an expert. Anyone joining the team needs to be an empathetic team player AND capable of independently owning their area of the product and driving it forward. We each have a great level of ownership and autonomy, and understand that this means the team’s success rides on our own efforts.

Requirements / Experience:

• GoLang - The backend powering our app has been built in Go
• GCP - We rely extensively on Google Cloud Platform as our cloud provider
• Fluent and strong communication in English
• Ability to overlap working hours with Pacific Standard Timezone (USA)

Experience here would be a plus:

• Kubernetes
• SWIFT
• LangChainJS
• SSL/TLS
• Sockets

The following would be a cherry on top:

• Python / NodeJS
• Machine Learning

Location: Remote (Can work anywhere in the world, but must be willing to overlap at least 4 hours with PST)
