Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Omni Core Payment team, driving efficiency and reliability across our systems while ensuring seamless integration of tools and workflows. This role demands a proactive individual with strong technical capabilities and a collaborative mindset to optimize infrastructure and support critical functionalities.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain OMS logic, including refund processing, payment capture, and payment holds
• Develop and optimize workflows utilizing IBM Sterling and IBM Sterling OMS
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes using Jenkins
• Manage and monitor systems using observability tools such as Instana, Grafana, Prometheus, and Kibana
• Create and maintain automation scripts using Typescript and Python
• Ensure system reliability and provide on-call support during non-business hours
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address infrastructure challenges and improve operational workflows
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in Elastic Stack integrated environments
• Enhance system scalability while ensuring secure and efficient integrations

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in DevOps roles
• Expertise in Elastic Stack, IBM Sterling, and IBM Sterling OMS
• Strong background with Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines
• Observability proficiency with Instana, Grafana, Prometheus, and Kibana
• Skills in scripting languages including TypeScript and Python
• Solid understanding of refund, payment capture, and payment hold logic in OMS
• Availability for on-call support outside regular business hours
• Excellent communication sklills, with English proficiency at a B2 level or higher

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AWS for cloud-based infrastructure
• Knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure as code solutions
