About the role:

Senior DevSecOps Specialist

Position Overview

As a Senior DevSecOps Specialist, you will be instrumental in managing and evolving our cloud-native infrastructure, implementing robust automation frameworks, and ensuring security is embedded throughout our development and deployment processes. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies while contributing to Client 's digital transformation journey

Required Qualifications

Experience & Background

• 15+ years of comprehensive IT experience with demonstrated progression in technical roles
• 2+ years of technical leadership experience in DevOps/DevSecOps environments
• Proven experience in large-scale infrastructure management and cloud migrations
• Experience working in client-facing or consulting environments preferred

Technical Expertise

Cloud & Infrastructure (Essential)

• Expert-level AWS knowledge with hands-on experience across core services (ECS, EKS, Lambda, VPC, S3, ECR, ALB, NAT Gateway)
• Strong understanding of AWS networking, security groups, NACLs, and IAM
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, including module development and state management
• Container orchestration experience with Amazon ECS (current platform)

CI/CD & Automation (Essential)

• Extensive experience with Jenkins pipeline development and management
• Proficiency with AWS Code Pipeline and related AWS DevOps services
• Strong Python scripting and automation capabilities
• Experience with GitOps methodologies and tools (ArgoCD, Flux preferred)

Security & DevSecOps (Essential)

• Deep understanding of DevSecOps principles and security automation
• Experience with network security design and implementation
• Knowledge of identity and access management systems
• Understanding of compliance frameworks and security scanning tools

Monitoring & Troubleshooting (Essential)

• Experience with enterprise logging and monitoring solutions (Splunk experience highly valued)
• Proficiency with APM tools and observability practices
• Systematic approach to troubleshooting complex distributed systems
• Experience with AWS CloudTrail, X-Ray, and other AWS monitoring services

Preferred Qualifications

• Kubernetes/EKS experience for future platform evolution
• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, Security Specialty)
• Experience with BMC CMDB and ITIL processes
• Familiarity with Okta, SailPoint, and Azure EntraID integrations
• Experience with Grafana and other visualization tools
• Background in telecommunications or large enterprise environments
