Main responsibilities

BetGames is looking for a Backend Game Engine Developer to join our team and build the core systems behind our games. You’ll be responsible for developing backend services, implementing game logic engines and working with RNG models. A basic understanding of mathematical models and game balancing is required. You’ll work as part of a cross-functional team, contributing to various game projects and collaborating with developers, designers and product owners to deliver high-quality iGaming products.

We expect you have

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in backend development

• Game engine creation in iGaming products (slots, crash games, table games)

• Advanced knowledge of MySQL

• Strong understanding OOP and SOLID

• Strong understanding of the best practices in developing web applications

• Knowledge of at least one PHP MVC framework (Symfony, Laravel)

• Experience with GIT

• Experience with PHP Unit / Codeception

• Experience with Linux systems

• Understanding of design patterns

• Ability to work in a team

• Good English

• Experience with Docker, Jira, Jenkins

• Experience with database optimization

• Experience with API development and integration

• Experience with RabbitMQ

• Experience with Redis

• Experience with TDD and DDD

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
