Summary Of The Role

As an HR Representative, you will play a key role in supporting our EMEA organization by handling a wide range of day-to-day HR responsibilities. You will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment where your contributions are valued and your development is supported.

You will have the opportunity to grow your international HR expertise by learning to support countries such as Germany, the United Kingdom, and Ireland, while also contributing to regional and global HR projects.

Role And Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and managers, including handling HR cases and inquiries via our case management system from hire to retire.
  • Manage HR processes throughout the employee life cycle, such as long-term sick leave, including drawing up action plans and supporting reintegration.
  • Support the HRBP and ER Specialist in employee relations matters, including preparing and assessing settlement agreements / dismissal documentation
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of HR manuals and internal policies.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and labor regulations, as well as maintaining strict confidentiality in all HR matters.
  • Support HR projects on regional and global level with focus on simplification and continuous improvement.
  • Perform regular audits to maintain data integrity.
  • Handle basic German-language communication with employees, resolving and redirecting inquiries appropriately.

Skills And Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of HR experience in a company, similar to Nordson, with 100+ employees, or 3+ years of HR experience in smaller companies.
  • Expertise in Dutch HR regulations / labor law is required; knowledge of German HR practices is preferred.
  • Experience with Dutch Collective Labor Agreement and HR policy creation.
  • Experience with long-term sick leave, settlement agreements, dismissals, and UWV processes.
  • High language proficiency in Dutch and English, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Basic proficiency in German, with willingness to improve language skills.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with HRBPs and ER Specialists.

  • For this role no travel is required.
