Your tasks

Develop: Lead backend development by architecting and implementing new features with PHP (Laravel).

Collaborate: Work directly with our CTO in an agile environment to ensure a scalable and high-performance backend system.

Quality: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable backend code, adhering to SOLID principles & best practices.

Optimize: Improve system performance, database queries, and API integrations for speed and scalability.

Recommendation System: Enhance and optimize our ElasticSearch engine to provide great job matching to our users.

Who you are

4+ years of professional fullstack development experience within an agile environment.

Solid background in Laravel development, RESTful API design, and Test-Driven Development.

Hands-on experience with ElasticSearch or OpenSearch.

Familiarity with CSS-in-JS tools (e.g., styled-components) and containerization via Docker.

Experience with cloud-based platforms like AWS and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab).

Mastery in relational/SQL database design and an understanding of web services architectures.

Fluent in English (C1+ level) with excellent communication skills.

Completed MS or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering.

Expertise in NextJS/React with a focus on server-side rendering and modern UI/UX practices. (STRONG PLUS)
