Role: Frontend Architect

Location: Krakow Poland

Type: B2b Contract/UoP (Employment contract)

We are at Coforge hiring for Frontend Architect with microfrontend strategies JavaScript frameworks (especially React)

Key Responsibilities:

• Architectural Design: Define and implement modular and scalable front-end architectures, including microfrontend strategies.
• Framework & Pattern Expertise: Apply deep knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks (especially React) and architectural patterns to guide development.
• Code Standards & Governance: Establish, document, and enforce coding standards, best practices, and development workflows across teams.
• Performance & Accessibility: Drive front-end performance optimization and ensure accessibility compliance across all user interfaces.
• Design System Integration: Collaborate with design teams to implement and evolve design systems using tools like Storybook, Bit, and others.
• Mentorship & Leadership: Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables and team growth.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Communication: Clearly articulate architectural decisions, trade-offs, and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in front-end architecture and large-scale application development.
• Strong proficiency in React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with microfrontend frameworks and scalable front-end design.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and performance monitoring tools.
• Deep understanding of web performance, accessibility standards, and responsive design.
• Experience working with or building design systems.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
