Business Analyst

Our client, a leading organization in the banking industry in Azerbaijan, is looking for a skilled Business Analyst to join their team.

This is a 6-month project-based position.

Location: Remote (with occasional onsite presence if required)

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of overall professional experience, with at least 3–5 years dedicated to the credit and/or cards business domain
• Experience with payment platforms such as OpenWay, Compass, or Ocean
• Hands-on involvement in system integration projects, particularly with OpenWay and FlexCube
• Strong expertise in credit card core processes and lending management systems
• Strong experience in designing and implementing data models specific to credit card systems
• Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed system analysis and prepare technical documentation aligned with business requirements
• Direct experience collaborating with business stakeholders to gather, refine, and translate requirements into actionable technical specifications

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering and documentation for the credit card management system
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories
• Collaborate with IT and vendors to design and implement solutions
• Support UAT by preparing scenarios and validating results
• Act as a bridge between business teams and technical stakeholders
