Data Analytics Consultant

Strategic Staffing Solutions client is a company, which is a leader in the insurtech sector, specializing in technology insurance. They offer comprehensive services related to the protection and maintenance of mobile devices, providing their customers with a convenient and completely digital service. Their services include financing, repair and even replacement of devices. They operate in the European, Asian and African markets, serving almost 8 million customers.

Joining as a Data Analytics Consultant you will be serving as a gatekeeper for an organization's data so stakeholders can understand data and use it to make strategic business.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end setup and launch of BI processes for new partner and product initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and automation of key reporting activities.
• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to gather, document, and translate business requirements into functional specifications for reporting and data solutions.
• Collaborate with data architects and engineers to ensure data systems support evolving business needs and facilitate seamless data integration and quality.
• Analyze business processes and reporting workflows to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation and standardization.
• Facilitate workshops and discussions with cross-functional teams to prioritize data and reporting needs based on strategic and operational objectives.
• Design and propose data-driven solutions that support informed decision-making, including defining KPIs, success metrics, and performance benchmarks.
• Create wireframes or prototypes for dashboards and reports, ensuring user requirements are met and visualizations drive clarity and action.
• Support regular reporting cycles by reviewing outputs for accuracy, validating data against business logic, and preparing executive-ready presentations.
• Work closely with non-technical stakeholders to promote data literacy, provide training on BI tools, and ensure understanding of delivered solutions.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of reporting processes, business rules, and data definitions to ensure transparency and replicability of analyses.
• Contribute to the overall data strategy and maturity of the business by championing a data-first mindset and structured problem-solving approaches.

Requirements:

• 3+ years in a data analytics position.
• Degree in one of the following fields: Engineering / Computer Science/Data Analytics.
• Highly proficient in SQL.
• Experience using Python, and their dependencies (Pandas, Numpy, Scikit-Learn, etc).
• Experience/knowledge in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Qlikview.
• Experience articulating business questions and using quantitative techniques to arrive at a solution using available data.
• Experience having effective conversations with clients about their support needs and requirements, managing the intake process, and asking the right questions to scope and solve the requests.
