Role Overview:

We’re seeking a Mobile Development Lead to architect and deliver cutting-edge, scalable mobile apps for iOS and Android. You’ll start remotely, with relocation to the GCC required as the team grows. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a high-performing, cross-functional mobile team (remote and onsite)
• Architect, build, and optimize mobile applications using React Native, Expo, and TypeScript
• Integrate with global platforms: AWS, Google Cloud, Firebase, GraphQL, RESTful APIs
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and OTA updates for enterprise-grade delivery
• Drive app performance, security, offline capabilities, and seamless user experience
• Collaborate with design, backend, AI/ML, and product teams to launch innovative features
• Ensure compliance with App Store and Google Play guidelines
• Champion agile methodologies, code reviews, and engineering best practices
• Report to the Head of Engineering, contributing to architecture and engineering strategy

Requirements:

• 7+ years of mobile app development, with 3+ years in React Native on production apps
• Deep expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, mobile architecture, and PostgreSQL
• Proven experience with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Firebase) and backend integration at scale
• Excellent understanding of mobile UX/UI, performance optimization, and security best practices
• Hands-on experience with mobile CI/CD (Fastlane, Bitrise, GitHub Actions), release management, and OTA updates
• Leadership experience managing distributed, multicultural engineering teams
• Exceptional communication skills; able to drive engineering excellence and align with business goals

Preferred:

• Experience launching apps with 100k+ downloads or high user engagement
• Knowledge of AI/ML integrations, analytics, and real-time data features
• Familiarity with tools like AppCenter, Sentry, Crashlytics, and automated testing frameworks
