Senior PHP Engineer

Our customer is the European online car market, with over 30 million monthly users and a presence in 18 countries. As a Senior PHP Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of online car markets and enhancing the user experience for millions of car buyers and sellers.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain the CRM applications using PHP.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to define, design, and ship new features.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.
Conduct thorough testing of applications to ensure quality and identify and fix bugs.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our CRM applications are current and competitive.
Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers.
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Requirements:

Canadian Timezone (EDT)
Be able to work independently, take ownership of features.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
3+ years of professional experience in software development using PHP.
Strong understanding of JavaScript, including ES6+ syntax and features.
Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or MobX.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party libraries and APIs.
Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git.
Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Upper-intermediate/Advanced English level
