VP, Data Scientist (Cybersecurity)

We are seeking a VP, Data Scientist (Cybersecurity) to spearhead the transformation of cybersecurity operations through AI/ML at a global organization. This strategic role will be responsible for operationalizing AI-driven use cases in cybersecurity defense, including threat detection, exposure management, and automated response. You will design and implement scalable solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing security platforms and leverage NLP techniques to analyze data and detect potential threats.


Responsibilities

• Drive AI/ML use cases in cyber defense, including threat detection, exposure management, and automated response.
• Apply NLP and advanced analytics to detect suspicious activity and emerging AI-driven threats.
• Build scalable, AI-enabled solutions that integrate with existing security platforms.
• Oversee vendors, compliance, and audits while embedding AI security processes across the business.
• Champion collaboration, innovation, and excellence in cybersecurity operations.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• At least 7 years working in a cybersecurity operations function or similar.
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, attack techniques (MITRE ATT&CK), and threat detection methodologies.
• Working knowledge of Data Science, AI technologies such as NLP, Machine Learning and Generative AI.
• Experienced with programming languages in AI-related libraries.
