JUNIOR NETWORK ENGINEER

Job Description

Our Infrastructure team, is looking for new talents.

In order to improve everyday our platform, we are looking for a Junior Network Engineer who helps us on a wide range of new projects aimed to the constant innovation of our global infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will support the team in the day-to-day operations of our network infrastructure and actively participate in meetings about new projects.

They will work alongside senior network engineers, where they will learn the specific implementations of our global network infrastructure.

What We Ask

• Knowledge of CISCO IOS
• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP (3-way, RTT) and tools (mtr, ping, tcpdump)
• Knowledge of OSPF and BGP routing protocols
• Knowledge of firewalls: CISCO, Fortinet, Mikrotik
• Ability to draft a basic operating procedure
• Confidence in a Linux environment
• Providing after-hours support on call when needed
• Engagement in data center support activities, remotely or in person

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor in IT field or equivalent experience;
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in ICT industry;
• Languages: A good level, written and spoken of English is required.
