Senior Frontend Developer (Next.js, ReactJS)

We are seeking a skilled Senior Frontend Developer with a strong background in Next.js and ReactJS to play a critical role in the development of our client's digital web modernization project. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to creating a scalable MACH stack platform while transitioning their existing monolithic website to a modern architecture.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Next.js and ReactJS, ensuring high performance and responsiveness
• Implement BFF architecture to optimize the interaction between frontend applications and backend services, enhancing data retrieval and user experience
• Collaborate with the client's UX/UI designers to translate design wireframes and prototypes into functional web applications
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices and coding standards
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure functionality, performance, and security
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, addressing performance bottlenecks and improving load times
• Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in web development, applying this knowledge to improve existing applications and processes
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and DevOps, to define project requirements and deliverables

Requirements

• Proven experience of over 3 years as a Frontend Developer or similar role, with a focus on web modernization projects
• Expertise in Next.js and ReactJS, with a solid understanding of their core principles, best practices, and production-level experience in the framework and library respectively
• Experience using Contentstack CMS for scalable content management solutions
• Experience with BFF architecture and its implementation in web applications
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL for data retrieval and integration
• Knowledge of state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX) and component libraries (e.g., Material-UI, Ant Design)
• Understanding of web performance optimization techniques and tools
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, agile environment
• A proactive attitude toward learning new technologies and improving existing skills
• Excellent communication skills in English (B2 level or higher), both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders
