C++ Engineer

We are seeking a skilled C++ Engineer to contribute to the modernization of a complex, on-premises legacy system.

This opportunity involves migrating services to a Linux-based AWS environment, revising codebases, and optimizing database processes. Become a key player in driving technical progress and enhancing system efficiency and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the project team to understand and analyze the existing application architecture and services
• Develop and execute PoCs to validate proposed modernization solutions and technologies
• Migrate the existing application services from an on-premise Windows environment to a Linux-based AWS cloud platform using containerization
• Refactor and optimize existing C/C++ and other language codebases for better performance and maintainability
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for automated testing and deployment
• Work closely with the database team to migrate the Oracle database to Oracle RDS/Aurora DB and ensure data integrity and security
• Document all processes, designs, and architectures, and provide regular updates to stakeholders
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during the modernization process
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to suggest improvements and enhancements to the project

Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional experience in C/C++ development (Windows, Linux is a plus)
• Knowledge of COM / COM Interop
• Experience in maintaining and modernizing legacy codebases
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins)
• Working knowledge of Oracle DB (experience with RDS/Aurora is a plus)
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and basic understanding of AWS services
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code and implement unit tests
• Team player, able to work under the guidance of Senior engineers
• Eagerness to learn new technologies (Linux, AWS, containerization)
• Attention to detail and strong sense of responsibility
• Good written and verbal communication skills with at least B2 English level
