Junior Data Scientist

You are: 

• An expert in data science with Master’s degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Big Data or similar studies, typically having 2+ years of experience in Junior Data Science positions; 
  
  

 

• Demonstrating ability to identify relevant patterns and trends in data;
  
  

 

• Demonstrating experience creating tailor-made visualisations using principles of effective visual design with ability to visually communicate basic insights & recommendations to audiences;
  
  

 

• Demonstrating application of basic software engineering principles and experience working with cloud-based infrastructure;
• Strong understending and ability to use machine learning and statistical modeling techniques including deep knowledge of statistics & math behind common algorithms;
• Advanced user of Excel & Power BI. Solid command of Python/R and SQL, allowing for their independent use;
• Confident in English on advanced level (both written and verbal) with proven experience of effective communication at different levels in the organization, beneficially working in a global environment and with virtual teams

• Actively participate in each stage of the data science lifecycle, from business understanding through model development to industrialization;
• Design, build and maintain statistical/machine learning models to optimize business operations;
• Communicate model & analysis results to a non-technical audience that includes stakeholders and senior management, and win their buy-in;
