Role Definition
- A Junior Laravel Developer is responsible for supporting the team in building web applications using the Laravel framework. This role includes assisting with backend logic, integrating APIs, database operations, and actively learning the Laravel ecosystem under mentorship.
- Develop and maintain backend functionality using Laravel framework
- Support in understanding and fulfilling client requirements as per the defined project scope and deadlines
- Assist in troubleshooting, testing, and debugging code
- Show willingness to learn Laravel best practices, tools, and coding conventions
- Collaborate with designers, project leads, and other developers to understand assigned tasks
- Write clean and maintainable code using Laravel syntax and architecture
- Work on database design, migrations, and Eloquent ORM
- Assist in API development and integration with front-end components
- Participate in project discussions, team meetings, and code reviews
- Gain hands-on experience with MVC structure, routing, middleware, and authentication modules
- Resolve basic bugs and work on feedback from senior team members
- Continuously learn new features of Laravel and contribute to a collaborative coding culture
- BE / B.Tech / MCA / M.Tech / BCA / MSc (CS/IT)
- Basic understanding of Laravel framework and PHP
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL
- Exposure to MVC architecture and Laravel tools like Artisan, Eloquent, etc.
- Internship or academic project in Laravel is a strong plus
- Good problem-solving ability and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a team and take feedback constructively
