Senior .NET Developer (AWS) — 3-Month Contract

Melbourne | Hybrid (3 days onsite) | Immediate start

CloudMarc is seeking a hands-on .NET Developer to help design, build, and uplift enterprise applications (including ESB components). You’ll contribute across the SDLC, deliver test-driven code, and collaborate closely with product, QA, and platform teams in an Agile environment.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and enhance enterprise apps; produce supporting documentation.
• Deliver high-quality, test-driven code in .NET (Core/Framework) and Python; Java exposure desirable (for ESB uplift).
• Build and maintain cloud-native/serverless solutions on AWS; containerise with Docker.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs, web services, and microservices with security, scalability, and maintainability in mind.
• Apply strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL, HTTP, and caching to build efficient systems.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code for deployments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across dev/test/prod.
• Work iteratively using Agile (Scrum/Kanban) with Jira; contribute to continuous improvement.
• Perform peer reviews and mentor junior developers to raise engineering quality.

What you’ll bring

• Proven experience with .NET (Core/Framework) and Python; Java experience a plus.
• Solid front-end fundamentals (HTML, JavaScript, CSS).
• Working knowledge of AWS services, Docker, and modern DevOps practices.
• Experience with Web API development, SQL and NoSQL datastores.
• Strong understanding of HTTP, database connections, caching, and distributed systems concepts.
• Familiarity with cloud-native/serverless architectures.
• Commitment to secure coding and Secure SDLC; TDD/unit testing experience.
• Comfortable in Agile teams; exposure to Jira/Confluence/Miro.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder collaboration, and the ability to mentor and prioritise to hit timelines/budgets.
• Curiosity and a collaborative mindset.
