What You'll Do

Position Overview

As a Recruiting Assistant, you will be part of the Brussels Recruiting Team, focusing on identifying and recruiting top talent to reinforce our Consulting staff. You will partner with multiple stakeholders in the Consulting and Business Services teams, locally & internationally.

You will further develop, drive forward and streamline the Campus Recruiting and Experience Hire strategy & processes, in collaboration with the Brussels Recruiting team. You’ll team up with the Recruiting colleagues to further build BCG’s brand and positioning on the market, and assisting with candidates in process, events and any recruiting initiatives for the Brussels office.

What Will You Do

As a successful candidate you will take on responsibilities including:

  • Support the recruiting team with scheduling candidates, being strategic when prioritizing candidates through the process
  • Liaise with Campus/student organizations and collaborate with these partnerships where needed
  • Assist with development and execution of the local marketing plans to attract and recruit Intern and Graduates at university level
  • Support with recruiting presentations and events, both prior and during the event, with the recruiting strategy (develop communication/marketing plan; event content; logistics; welcome students; attend event)
  • Contribute to development, planning and execution of major flagship events (Strategy Cup, Strategy Weekend abroad)
  • Assist with identifying top talent, monitor and screen campus applications; follow candidates interviewing with BCG till process completion
  • Run and interpret relevant reporting on candidate inflow/pipeline
  • Maintaining recruiting database and ensuring accuracy
  • Manage ad-hoc projects incl. recruiting process improvements by collecting and analysing information to assess the effectiveness of recruiting efforts
  • Act as back-up and provide support for other recruiting colleagues when needed

What You'll Bring

You Bring (Experience & Qualifications)

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field
  • Previous internship experience and ideally acquired within a services company (agency, consulting, professional services or similar environment)
  • Advanced English level is a must. Knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus
  • Proficient computer skills: Windows, Outlook; demonstrated basic knowledge in Power Point, Word and Excel
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; comfortable with telephone interactions
  • Attention to detail and strong organization skills
  • Willingness to be flexible as required to ensure events run smoothly on ad hoc evenings or weekends and to ensure projects and tasks completed by deadlines needed
  • Appropriate treatment of confidential information
  • Represent BCG to candidates and other external parties according to the highest possible standards

You’ll be part of the BCG Brussels Recruiting team, collaborating with Business Services colleagues as well as a team of Consultants. You’ll be part of the wider BCG Brussels office as well as a well-developed international network of offices.
