Senior Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver Web and Application Server infrastructure (httpd, RedHat JBoss EAP, Kafka, Terraform/IaC)
• Support both on-prem and public cloud deployments (IaaS/PaaS)
• Evaluate new infrastructure and cloud technologies
• Maintain automation/test frameworks and DevOps connectors
• Participate in major production rollouts (approx. 6/year, including Saturdays)
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams
• Document architecture and security for critical systems
• Report to Head of Unit and work with domain experts

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

• Master’s in Computer Science or equivalent
• Strong experience with httpd Web server and Java application server on Linux (RedHat JBoss EAP preferred)
• Deep understanding of multi-tier Web infrastructure (HA, security, transactions)
• TLS/PKI configuration and certificate/key deployment
• Strong documentation and technical writing skills
• Hands-on with:
• Apache Maven
• IntelliJ/Eclipse
• Linux OS
• OpenIDConnect SSO
• Git
• Azure or Google Cloud APIs
