Contract Senior Software Engineer

We are recruiting for a Senior Software Engineer (Java) for a 6 month contract to start ASAP.

On-site presence required in Amsterdam 2-3 days per week.

Day rate: €500-600

Role: Enhance customer login experience (performance, security).

Key Tech: Java 21 (Spring/Spring Boot 3), GIT, Postgres, Kubernetes.

Requirements

• 5+ years software engineering experience.
• Microservices architecture experience.
• Firm understanding of software development best practices (design patterns, testable code).
• Background in cybersecurity, encryption
• Experience with Spring Security and deep understanding of OAuth 2.0.
• Experience analyzing and fixing security threats (device fingerprinting, rate-limiting).
• A track record of supporting and mentoring less experienced engineers.

• OpenID Connect (OIDC).
• Observability platforms (Datadog etc.).
