About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled Data Scientist with strong expertise in Python and a solid background in healthcare to join an expanding clinical-tech team in North Brabant. This hands-on role involves working with patient health data — particularly ECG and PPG signals — to develop advanced time-series algorithms and machine learning models that support ongoing digital health projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse and model physiological time-series data, including ECG, PPG and heart rate signals
• Build and validate machine learning models for healthcare applications
• Extract and preprocess relevant features from raw health data
• Collaborate closely with clinical and engineering teams to drive project success
• Support data quality and pipeline robustness
• Potentially help upskill team members in the coming year

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Scientist with a healthcare background (essential)
• Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis and model development
• Experience with signal processing and time-series analysis in healthcare data
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work in a hybrid environment (ideally 3–4 days per week onsite in North Brabant given that's what the rest of the team does)
