Full Stack Java Developer

For one of your clients in Brussels, we are looking for a Full Stack Java Engineer to work on a hybrid model (3 days on site, 2 days remote).


Tasks


  • Front-end design and development using JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Experience with either React or Vue or Svelte
  • Back-end development using Java
  • Design and write web services using API and Spring Boot
  • Containerisation (Docker)
  • Kubernetes deployment and administration following GitOps best practices


Skills


  • At least 5 years' experience as full stack developer
  • Strong knowledge of Java/TypeScript and related frameworks (React, Vue, Svelte)
  • Strong knowledge of Java, Web Services (API), Spring Boot
  • Strong knowledge on containers management and administration (Kubernetes, Docker), preferably on VMWare vSphere with Tanzu
  • Expertise in working with DevOPS tools and practices (GitOps)
  • Exposure to PostgreSQL and MySQL. Oracle exposure is nice to have (optional).
  • Fluent English + any European language
  • A minimum of 8 (eight) years' experience in IT
