DevSecOps Engineer

Security-Focused DevOps Engineer – Stockholm (Hybrid)

A fast-growing fintech platform with over half a million users and partnerships across 40+ financial institutions is seeking a Security-Focused DevOps Engineer to join their Stockholm-based tech team. This role is being prioritized as part of a broader strategy to insource core systems and scale securely.

About the Role

This is not your typical DevOps position. While you'll work across infrastructure and automation, the emphasis is on security-first engineering. You’ll help shape the platform’s resilience, observability, and compliance posture in line with financial regulations and evolving threat landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
• Lead initiatives in Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Application Security
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including the CISO on DORA compliance and risk mitigation
• Build observability into distributed systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, incident response, and root cause analysis
• Support SRE practices to ensure uptime, reliability, and performance
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience managing Linux-based environments
• Software development and network administration
• Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native security tools
• Familiarity with IAM frameworks and secure authentication protocols
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., DORA, GDPR)
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and automation skills
• Excellent written and spoken English; Swedish is a plus
