Responsibilities

• Designing intuitive user experiences for core Zoom Docs features, including editing, tables, navigation, sharing, and collaboration.
• Leading end-to-end design workflows, from early concept sketches and user flows to high-fidelity visuals and developer-ready specs.
• Collaborating with product managers, engineers, and fellow designers to shape and deliver thoughtful product solutions.
• Contributing to our cross-product design system, ensuring consistency while advancing innovation across the Zoom ecosystem.
• Conducting user research and usability testing, turning insights into actionable design improvements.
• Communicating design rationale effectively through prototypes, presentations, and clear specifications.
  
  

What we’re looking for

• Bring 5+ years of product design experience, ideally in SaaS platforms, productivity tools, or collaboration software.
• Showcase interaction and visual design skills through a portfolio that highlights strategic thinking, polished execution, and user-centered solutions.
• Demonstrate success designing complex features (e.g., document editing, tables, charts, or collaboration tools).
• Apply experience with design systems to create scalable and consistent user experiences.
• Navigate ambiguity with confidence and drive results in a growing, iterative environment.
• Solve complex problems with creativity, empathy, and a focus on usability.
• Bring experience with document or collaboration tools, knowledge of designing for real-time collaboration or AI-powered features

Salary Range or On Target Earnings:

$98 900,00

Maximum

$228 700,00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
