Senior Automation Tester (JavaScript)

We are looking for a Senior Automation Tester with expertise in JavaScript to lead efforts in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications.

This role involves creating robust test automation frameworks, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving best practices to deliver seamless mobile app experiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for mobile applications
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to define test strategies
• Ensure test coverage spans across functional, integration, and end-to-end scenarios
• Conduct performance testing for both iOS and Android applications
• Utilize tools like Postman or RestAssured to perform API testing
• Work in Agile or Scrum methodologies to keep up with evolving project requirements
• Identify, document, and track bugs, ensuring timely resolution
• Optimize testing processes to improve efficiency and reduce time-to-market
• Provide mentoring and technical guidance to junior testers
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA strategy

Requirements

• 3+ years of proven experience in QA automation with a focus on mobile testing
• Background in automated testing for both iOS and Android platforms
• Expertise in API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools
• Skills in performance testing tools for mobile apps
• Knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies and best practices
• Proficiency in JavaScript and building test frameworks
• Understanding of creating end-to-end testing processes
• Capability to build or contribute to custom mobile QA frameworks

Nice to have

• Familiarity with open-source testing platforms or experience contributing to them
• Knowledge of emerging trends in mobile testing tools and technologies
• Showcase of innovative approaches to solving testing challenges
