Cyber Security Analyst

Our federal Government client have embarked on an ICT Transition Program and are seeking experienced and skilled Cyber Security Analysts to join their team responsible for the planning, execution and successful delivery of their cyber security transformation.

Successful applicants must have experience in the delivery of cyber security risk management and analyst services on-premise and cloud-based services and their associated security challenges.

The ideal candidates will have experience in:

• Assisting in the management and implementation of IT security strategies
• Aligning security expectations with the ISM, PSPF, Essential 8, and other industry best practices.
• Providing cybersecurity advice to a broad range of stakeholders, including building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to ensure compliance with Australian Government Security Standards
• Conducting security and quality assurance reviews, including supporting IRAP preparation activities and ensuring accurate documentation.
• Managing cyber risk to support secure departmental systems and services. Identifying opportunities to improve the security posture of the department’s network and information
• Contributing to migration of services to cloud environment.

Successful candidates will require a minimum of a Baseline AGSVA security clearance and will be required to work in our client’s Canberra office a minimum of 3 days per week.
