Role Overview:

As the Design Lead at Mediaverse, you will spearhead our design and branding department, championing creativity, innovation, and strategic planning. You’ll be responsible for managing all design tasks using Scrum or agile methodologies, ensuring seamless collaboration across teams and delivering exceptional results for our clients. This role requires a strong leader who can absorb and implement brand guidelines for some of the world’s most influential tech companies while serving as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on all design-related matters.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Strategy:
  • Lead the design and branding department, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Develop and execute design strategies aligned with client goals and Mediaverse’s vision.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all design-related inquiries, ensuring clear communication with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
  • Project Management:
  • Plan, prioritize, allocate, and oversee all design tasks using Scrum or agile methodologies.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers, motion designers, and producers to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
  • Actively participate in strategic planning, ensuring alignment with client expectations and deadlines.
  • Design Execution:
  • Absorb, interpret, and implement brand guidelines for global tech companies, maintaining consistency and quality across all deliverables.
  • Oversee the creation of design assets, including branding materials, digital content, and motion graphics.
  • Leverage AI tools and advanced design software to optimize workflows and enhance creative output.
  • Client Interaction:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and translating them into impactful design solutions.
  • Present design concepts and strategies to clients, incorporating feedback to refine and improve deliverables.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience:
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in design leadership roles, preferably within a B2B content production or creative agency environment.
  • Proven track record of working with global brands and delivering high-quality design solutions under tight deadlines.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Expert proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.), and Asana or similar project management tool.
  • Knowledge of Figma and UX/UI principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance design processes.
  • Languages:
  • Native or near-native proficiency in English (required).
  • Proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is highly desirable.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to inspire and mentor team members.
  • Additional Skills:
  • Experience in motion design and branding for digital platforms is a plus.
  • Familiarity with multicultural work environments and the ability to adapt to diverse cultural contexts.
  • Strong preference for candidates who have worked with brands like Meta or Google.
