Your Role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer who leans toward the development side of the DevOps spectrum. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing, automating, and optimizing our clients’ infrastructure and deployment pipelines with a strong focus on custom development, scripting, and data handling (SQL). You’ll work hands-on to deliver reliable systems that scale with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers, IT teams, and clients to build and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and optimize backend tools, integrations, and deployment scripts.
• Manage and automate infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.
• Implement and monitor application performance, scalability, and security measures.
• Use SQL for data transformations, reporting, and database scripting tasks.
• Troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues across development and production environments.
• Contribute to architectural decisions regarding cloud platforms, automation frameworks, and deployment strategies.
• Support the buildout of a structured and fault-tolerant IT architecture that drives business growth.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years experience in a DevOps or development-oriented infrastructure role.
• Strong experience with:
• SQL (e.g. complex queries, stored procedures, performance tuning)
• Scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• CI/CD tools (e.g. GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
• Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes is a plus)
• Cloud services (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g. Terraform, Ansible)
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and communicative.
• Fluent in English (Dutch or French is a plus).
