Your flight instructions

As a Senior Product Manager Cloud, you will take the lead in our Cloud team. Your responsibilities include:

Leadership and team management

• Motivating, coaching and managing the Cloud team and the FinOps Manager.
• Stimulating a positive and performance-oriented team atmosphere.
• Setting objectives and supervising evaluation interviews.

Technical management and optimization

• Management and optimization of the Cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) in line with SLAs.
• Supervise the operation of monitoring tools and ensure an optimal user experience.
• Automating repetitive processes and following technological trends.
• Collaborate with the Cloud Architect and engineering teams to develop platform roadmaps.
• Ensure that BAC's cloud standards are followed throughout the organization.

Operational support and processes

• Documenting and maintaining Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs).
• Follow up and manage service requests, incidents, problems, improvement plans, changes and projects.
• Advising the Service Manager IaaS on future investments in cloud solutions.
• Monitoring the cooperation with Managed Service Providers and internal customers.
• Project management and budget management
• Leading cloud projects/sprints, including reporting to the Service Manager IaaS.
• Identifying project risks and drawing up mitigation plans.
• Managing and defending budgets to achieve project goals

Your passport

• Expertise: In-depth knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and associated services, including Control Tower, RDS, Security Hub, Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in a cloud IT environment and experience with team leadership.
• Communication: Strong communication skills (Dutch, English and preferably French).
• Soft skills: Customer-oriented, stress-resistant, flexible and able to explain complex concepts in an understandable way.
• Technology and innovation: You closely follow evolutions within your domain and implement them where appropriate.
• FinOps: Experience with cloud cost management and optimization (FinOps).
• Tools: Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
