Java Backend Developer with Spring Experience - Contract (6 Months)

Budget - USD 10 - 18 Hourly

Job Type: Full-time, 8-hour workday

Availability: Notice period of 2-3 weeks

Contract Length: 6-12 months

Time Overlap: 5 hours overlap with PST

Experience & Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 4 years in Core Java or Java development
  • Preferred: At least 3 years in Spring Boot or Spring framework
  • Total of 4+ years as a Web Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop clean, readable, reusable, and maintainable code
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure quality standards are upheld
  • Demonstrate expertise in Java while ensuring comprehensive coverage
  • Provide well-organized, clean, annotated, and classifiable code
  • Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a web engineer
  • Proven experience in building modular and scalable web applications with an emphasis on code readability, security, and stability through testing
  • Strong command of Java syntax and conventions
  • Desirable: Background in software Quality Assurance and Test Planning
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
