Cyber Security Governance Lead

Role: Cyber security Governance and Reporting lead

Location: Hybrid/Dublin

Accpro is thrilled to partner with a leading organization, in filling crucial IT roles within their esteemed Security division. These roles contribute significantly to the robust security infrastructure of the organisation, ensuring the protection of their valuable assets and digital operations.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Enhance existing cyber security performance indicators and reporting structures to measure effectiveness.
  • Establish and monitor vendor security performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure adherence to policies and compliance requirements.
  • Draft, review, and publish new cyber security policies where required.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate threats.
  • Lead internal and external audits with suppliers, identifying gaps and driving remediation.
  • Implement and monitor controls to safeguard critical assets.
  • Prepare and present cyber security reports, dashboards, and metrics to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Deliver accurate and timely reporting on risks, incidents, and compliance matters.
  • Support regulatory and board-level reporting requirements.
  • Keep up to date with evolving threats, regulatory changes, and industry best practice.


Skills, Qualifications and Experience:


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cyber Security, Risk Management, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant industry certifications (such as CISM, CISA, CISSP, CRISC) are desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in cyber security governance, risk management, and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of cyber security regulations, frameworks, and industry standards.
  • Proven experience in security audits, risk assessments, and compliance reporting.
  • Skilled in consolidating and producing reports from multiple data sources.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
