EPAM Campus offers a free Data Software Engineering training program to help you gain market-oriented hard and soft skills alongside IT professionals. In this intensive course, you will explore the intricacies of designing, developing and maintaining large data-volume software systems, dive into the capabilities of the leading cloud platforms and learn modern data-handling technologies (Hadoop, Apache Spark, Kafka, etc.).
You can progress through this self-paced program at your convenience, as all learning materials will be accessible anytime. On average, you will need ~3 months and ~10-12 hours of weekly engagement.
Completing it won't guarantee a job, but it will lay a solid foundation to enter the profession confidently, either at our company or in the broader IT market.
Requirements:
• English speaking level from B2 (Upper-Intermediate) and higher
• Strong Python programming skills
• Practical experience in one of the additional languages (Java or Scala)
• Solid knowledge of the Relational Database Management System (DBMS) theory
• Good command of Structured Query Language (DML/DDL/DCL/TCL)
• Theoretical knowledge of DWH/Data Lake and one of the visualization tools
• Basic understanding of Linux, Docker and Kubernetes
