Senior Front-End Developer

Location: Onsite in Luxembourg

Employment type: Contract/Mission

Duration: 6 months initial

Kepler are currently partnered with a well established financial institution based in Luxembourg who are hiring for an experinced Java Front End Developer. You will be working alongside designers, engineers, and business stakeholders to optimise the performance and accessibility of web applications.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Build applications using JavaScript , TypeScript, and Svelte (and similar frameworks).
• Collaborate with design and backend teams to translate complex business needs into seamless interfaces.
• Optimise for speed, responsiveness, and accessibility across platforms and devices.
• Integrate front end applications with API's.
• Contribute to system design discussions.
• Leverage a cloud based environment (Azure), using Kubernetes for orchestration and Gitlab for version control.

Skills required for this position:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience building frontend applications.
• Working experience using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experienced with GraphQL and experience on how to build performant and secure data flows.
• Familiarity with microservices and the way frontend systems interact with complex backend architectures.
• Working proficiency in English and French.
