Embedded Software Engineer

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will work on complex charging systems for electric vehicles. Your main tasks will include designing and implementing test frameworks for both software and hardware components to ensure the software functions correctly on our charging systems. It’s crucial to understand that even minor software changes can impact hardware functionality, so attention to detail is essential.

What You Will Be Doing

• Work daily with low-level Python and C++ to build frameworks for functional tests and large-scale regression and system tests.
• Know when and how to automate tests, proposing improvements to enhance product quality.
• Collaborate with the Requirements Engineer and Product Owner to ensure high-quality requirements for the test automation platform.
• Report execution status to the team and stakeholders.
  
  

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Informatics, Computer Science, Industrial Science, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of Embedded Systems to see the overall solution.
• Proficiency in embedded Python and C/C++ programming.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, test frameworks.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to write Shell scripts in Linux will be considered as an advantage
• Although not a requirement, familiarity with any of the following will be a plus: EVSE charging protocols and interfaces (ISO 15118, DIN 70121, CCS and Chademo)
