Senior Network Security Engineer

Location: On-site in Stockholm 2-3 days a week

Required skills & Preferred skills for the role:

  • Senior Network Security Engineer - at least of 5 years experience with the topic listed below:
  • SSE Solutions: Extensive knowledge of Secure Service Edge (SSE) solutions, including Zscaler, Netskope, Palo Alto or similar technologies. Both for protecting Internet access and Private (ZTNA) applications.
  • Network Security Segmentation: Expertise in designing and implementing network segmentation strategies within data centers.
  • IP-VPN: Proficiency in configuring and managing IP-VPNs for secure communication. Especially for On-prem and Azure environment.
  • Network Detection and Response: experience in designing, deploying and maintaining solution and managing alerts and signals.
  • Firewall Management: Experience with firewall configurations (e.g., Cisco FTS, Palo Alto, Fortinet).
  • Intrusion Detection and Prevention: Skills in deploying and managing IDS/IPS systems.
  • Network Protocols: Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, certificates and other network protocols.
  • Zero Trust Network Access: on-prem, private and public clouds (with focus on Azure and GCP).
  • Extensive experience with Network Security products and capabilities, including IDS/IPS, proxies, firewalls, reverse-proxies, load balancing, segmentation, VPNs, SIEM, XDR, SSE, SASE, SWG, CASB, ZTNA, and 802.1x.
  • Experience in network defense mechanisms (incl. identity and access management).
  • Security Architecture, Design and Threat Modelling (Cybersecurity capabilities, Hardening, Log management, Vulnerability analysis and IT-system reviews, Information flows and key assets, Rules, policies, routines and guardrails).
  • Understand regulatory and compliance requirements (GDPR, PCI-DSS, Schrems, etc.).
  • Expertise in cloud networking and security (e.g., Azure and GCP) .
  • Proficiency in network troubleshooting and automation (e.g., scripting with Python).

We prefer that you also possess following:

  • CCNP (Security) or higher certifications such as CCIE or CISSP are highly valued.
  • Security certifications (e.g., Security+, GCIA, GCIH, GREM, CISSP, CEH, GCFA, etc.).
  • Azure Security Engineer, or GCP Security Engineer certification.
