Network Engineer Cisco ACI

As a Data Center Engineer you will be working for our client, a leading retail company with a strong focus on digital innovation and e-commerce. This role involves contributing to the heart of their IT operations by managing and evolving their on-premise infrastructure. You will be instrumental in developing and maintaining their network infrastructure, ensuring seamless data flow and high availability for critical business applications. This project is vital to the client's continuous growth and ability to serve a large customer base across various digital platforms, emphasizing the importance of robust and reliable data center solutions.

Your main responsibilities:

• Maintain, configure, and develop Data Center network infrastructure based on Cisco ACI technology
• Diagnose and resolve network issues in physical and virtual environments (L2/L3 troubleshooting and ACI fabric)
• Implement changes in policies, filters, contracts, and bridge domains according to project and operational requirements
• Integrate ACI with external systems (e.g., VMware vCenter, firewalls, load balancers)
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure the consistency and reliability of the Data Center environment
• Create and update technical documentation regarding configuration, topology, and operational procedures
• Monitor ACI Fabric operations and participate in performance analysis and environment expansion planning
• Participate in migration and implementation projects related to Data Center infrastructure development
• Work according to applicable IT procedures (change/request management, security, compliance)
• Implement network solutions and optimizations in public clouds (AWS, GCP)

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 3 years of professional experience
• Good knowledge of Cisco ACI technology and architecture (APIC, bridge domains, contracts, EPG, tenants)
• Experience in administering and configuring Cisco devices (Nexus, Catalyst)
• Knowledge of virtualization issues (e.g., ACI integration with VMware vCenter)
• Familiarity with network automation (e.g., Ansible, Python, Terraform, REST API)
• Knowledge of Cisco Nexus Dashboard
• At least two years of experience maintaining a Cisco ACI-based environment
• Knowledge of network component solutions in public clouds AWS and GCP
• Communicative knowledge of English, both spoken and written
