The Role:

• Collaborate in a compact team focused on research and development, alongside deploying scalable models for production environments.
• Engage in exploring cutting-edge techniques in generative AI, such as novel diffusion-based models.
• Evaluate and compare various machine learning approaches, conducting thorough tests and performance assessments.
• Translate top-performing methods into practical, reliable solutions ready for production.
• Establish and maintain automated pipelines for experimentation and deployment, integrating both MLOps and DevOps principles.
• Address challenges related to hardware limitations and optimize for efficient computational processes.
• Work with specialized data formats used in medical imaging, including but not limited to Nifti and DICOM.
• Navigate complex problem-solving in an agile, high-speed team setting.
• Collaborate with technical teams from external organizations to drive joint progress.
• Contribute to building a strong technical foundation and help establish a high-performing team alongside co-founders.

Your profile:

• Proficient in a broad range of Deep Learning techniques, from data preprocessing to model development and training.
• Experience with the full machine learning lifecycle, from initial research through to production-ready deployment.
• Familiarity with synthetic image generation and/or medical imaging AI is a valuable asset.
• Strong coding skills in Python, particularly with frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Pandas.
• Experienced in implementing MLOps and DevOps practices within a production environment.
• Capable of working with large datasets that challenge hardware limitations.
• Passionate about exploring and learning new advancements in modern machine learning approaches.
• Previous exposure to customer interactions, with an understanding of integrating business considerations into technical work.
• Comfortable navigating the fast-paced, evolving environment of a tech startup.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
