About the opportunity…

Mobile Development Excellence

• Develop high-quality mobile applications using modern technologies and best practices
• Implement clean, scalable code solutions that align with business requirements
• Contribute to technical discussions and provide input on architecture decisions
• Work closely with the technical lead to ensure alignment with product and technical roadmap
• Maintain high standards for code quality, design, and delivery through peer reviews
• Actively participate in technical debt management and continuous improvement initiatives

AI-Driven Development

• Leverage AI tools to enhance development productivity (e.g. GitHub Copilot, other development tools)
• Explore and implement AI-powered workflows that improve development efficiency
• Stay current with AI development trends and share learnings with the team

Collaboration & Mentorship

• Work collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment
• Provide guidance and support to junior developers
• Share knowledge and contribute to a positive, inclusive team culture
• Take ownership of features and projects with appropriate support and guidance

Quality & Best Practices

• Write comprehensive tests and follow established CI/CD practices
• Ensure adherence to security, privacy, and compliance standards
• Contribute to production monitoring and system reliability
• Follow established engineering processes and contribute to process improvements

What we would like to see you bring to the team:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years hands-on Software Engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in React Native (Expo), TypeScript, and Node.js (3+ years)
• Experience developing mobile applications with modern architectural patterns
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, containerization (Docker), and modern deployment practices
• Understanding of relational databases, API integration, and authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML, JWT)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities
• Adaptable and comfortable working in fast-paced, collaborative environments
• Bonus: Experience with microservices, third-party integrations, AI tools, performance optimization, and compliance frameworks.
