About the opportunity…
Mobile Development Excellence
- Develop high-quality mobile applications using modern technologies and best practices
- Implement clean, scalable code solutions that align with business requirements
- Contribute to technical discussions and provide input on architecture decisions
- Work closely with the technical lead to ensure alignment with product and technical roadmap
- Maintain high standards for code quality, design, and delivery through peer reviews
- Actively participate in technical debt management and continuous improvement initiatives
AI-Driven Development
- Leverage AI tools to enhance development productivity (e.g. GitHub Copilot, other development tools)
- Explore and implement AI-powered workflows that improve development efficiency
- Stay current with AI development trends and share learnings with the team
Collaboration & Mentorship
- Work collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment
- Provide guidance and support to junior developers
- Share knowledge and contribute to a positive, inclusive team culture
- Take ownership of features and projects with appropriate support and guidance
Quality & Best Practices
- Write comprehensive tests and follow established CI/CD practices
- Ensure adherence to security, privacy, and compliance standards
- Contribute to production monitoring and system reliability
- Follow established engineering processes and contribute to process improvements
What we would like to see you bring to the team:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years hands-on Software Engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in React Native (Expo), TypeScript, and Node.js (3+ years)
- Experience developing mobile applications with modern architectural patterns
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, containerization (Docker), and modern deployment practices
- Understanding of relational databases, API integration, and authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML, JWT)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities
- Adaptable and comfortable working in fast-paced, collaborative environments
- Bonus: Experience with microservices, third-party integrations, AI tools, performance optimization, and compliance frameworks.
