People Operations Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated People Operations Specialist to join our team and play a key role in managing HR processes and fostering employee engagement.

Responsibilities

• Manage and keep employee records accurate and up to date
• Oversee and organize the audit process for employee documentation
• Serve as the main contact for the background check provider
• Support the coordination and execution of employee engagement activities
• Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations at the federal, state, and local levels
• Offer advice and support on internal policies, labor relations, and HR procedures to align with best practices

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources or a similar role
• Proficiency in maintaining and managing employee documentation
• Experience preparing and conducting audits of employee records
• Demonstrated ability to act as the primary liaison with background check providers
• Familiarity with organizing and supporting employee engagement initiatives
• Understanding of labor laws and regulations to ensure HR compliance
• Capability to provide guidance on HR policies, labor relations, and operational procedures
• Strong English communication skills (written and spoken) at a B2 level or higher
