We are looking for a motivated People Operations Specialist to join our team and contribute to the seamless management of HR processes and employee engagement initiatives.
This role involves handling essential employee documentation, ensuring compliance, and supporting people-related procedures. If you are passionate about creating a positive employee experience and have a strong understanding of HR best practices, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update employee files with accurate and up-to-date documentation
- Prepare and oversee the audit process for employee records and documentation
- Act as the primary point of contact with the background investigation provider
- Assist in planning and supporting employee engagement events
- Ensure adherence to all relevant federal, state, and local labor regulations
- Provide guidance on internal policies, labor relations, and people-related processes to ensure best practices
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional experience in Human Resources or a related field
- Experience maintaining and updating employee files with appropriate documentation
- Ability to prepare and manage the audit process for employee records
- Proven experience as a primary point of contact for background investigation providers
- Familiarity with planning and supporting employee events and engagement activities
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations to ensure compliance in HR operations
- Ability to advise on best practices for internal policies, labor relations, and HR procedures
- Fluent English proficiency (written and spoken) at a B2 level or higher
