People Operations Specialist

We are looking for an enthusiastic People Operations Specialist to join our team and take on a key role in overseeing HR operations and driving employee engagement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update employee records to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Organize and lead the audit process for employee documentation
• Act as the primary point of contact for background verification providers
• Assist in planning and executing employee-focused events and activities
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations
• Provide recommendations and support for internal policies, labor relations, and HR processes

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in Human Resources or a related field
• Proven ability to manage and maintain employee records effectively
• Experience in preparing and managing audits of employee documentation
• Strong experience acting as the liaison for background verification processes
• Familiarity with planning and supporting employee engagement programs
• Knowledge of labor regulations to ensure HR compliance
• Ability to provide expert advice on HR policies, procedures, and labor relations
• Fluent English skills (written and spoken) at a B2 level or higher
