We create data-driven and AI-enhanced experiences that make fashion discovery more engaging, from surfacing trending styles to offering personalized recommendations that inspire customers. Our backend services process vast amounts of data to power dynamic, real-time insights into fashion trends, helping shoppers find what suits them best. What We'd Love You To Do (and Love Doing)

• Design and build scalable backend systems that enhance search and personalization experiences.
• Develop high-performance services that power real-time fashion discovery and personalized recommendations.
• Optimize search ranking and recommendation logic through backend engineering.
• Work with cross-functional teams (frontend, data, product) to refine and deliver impactful features.
• Write and review solution designs for complex backend challenges.
• Mentor and support junior engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Drive operational excellence , ensuring system performance, reliability, and maintainability.
  
  
  
  

WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF…

• You have strong backend engineering experience with at least one JVM language (Java, Kotlin, Scala).
• You’ve built distributed systems and microservices at scale.
• You have experience designing, building, and consuming robust APIs, particularly RESTful services and/or GraphQL .
• You have a solid grasp of data engineering concepts and backend system design.
• You thrive in a collaborative environment , working closely with product, design, and data teams.
• You’re familiar with AWS, Kubernetes, and DevOps best practices .
• You enjoy mentoring, reviewing code, and driving best engineering practices.

• You’ve worked with Scala, Python, Akka/Pekko, Apache Flink, Airflow, Databricks , or Spring Boot .
