DevOps Engineer

MCS Group is delighted to be assisting a valued client on their search for a DevOps Engineer with strong AWS skills to join their growing international team.

(Remote - Must be based in Ireland)

The Role:

• Lead the design and delivery of a Kubernetes based platform (AWS ECS)
• Maintain and improve CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions
• Set up and manage observability tooling across the platform, primarily with Datadog/Prometheus
• Support and develop cloud infrastructure on AWS
• Review, document, and continuously improve deployment processes

The Person:

• Minimum 3 years in a senior DevOps or Platform Engineering role focused on AWS
• Proven experience designing resilient, multi region AWS architectures
• In depth knowledge of Kubernetes, particularly AWS ECS
• Hands on experience with container migrations to AWS ECS using Docker
• Strong background in observability with tools like Datadog
• Solid AWS expertise across compute, database, and security services
• Full right to work in Ireland (Stamp 4/EU Citizen).

Salary up to 90,000 DOE with healthcare, pension and various extras!
