Our Dublin based client are looking for a Product Owner to join their team on a permanent basis

Looking for an experienced and Senior Technical Product Owner
Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Vision:
Gather requirements from stakeholders to define the product vision, goals, and strategy. Effectively communicate this product vision and requirements to the stakeholders and team members
- Product Management:
Produce and communicate on the key product requirements, including specifications, user stories, criteria & prototypes.
- Backlog Management:
Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring that items are in a priority order based on business value, stakeholder input, and user feedback.
- Sprint Planning & Execution:
Collaborate with project stakeholders to lead on sprint planning sessions, define clear acceptance criteria, and ensure that user stories are defined and ready for testing and development.
- Cross-Functional Coordination:
Work closely with engineering, design, QA, marketing and all teams involved to ensure timely and successful product delivery.
- Customer-Centric Focus:
Gather and analyse user feedback, monitor product performance, and leverage data to continuously improve the product.
Experience required
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role in an agile environment, preferably with a remote-first team
- Strong understanding of product management principles, agile methodologies, and experience managing the product lifecycle from initial concept to launch.
- Solid understanding of technical concepts (APIs, SQL, data privacy and security), with the ability to work closely with engineering teams to understand technical requirements and constraints.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring or leading teams of product managers.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fully remote environment
- Understanding of design principles and user experience, with the ability to work closely with design teams to create intuitive user interfaces.
- Knowledge of the competitive landscape and trends within our industry, and the ability to apply this insight to product strategy.
