We’re seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our engineering team and play a key role in developing robust, scalable, and high-performance solutions. This is a hands-on position where you’ll work in an Agile, test-driven, and pair-programming environment, contributing to mission-critical systems.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java and/or Kotlin
• Work in a Scrum Agile environment, practising pair programming (100% of the time) and test-driven development (TDD)
• Contribute to the full software lifecycle, from requirements and design to CI/CD deployment
• Ensure high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code through clean coding practices and continuous testing
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, driving technical discussions and architectural decisions
• (Optional) Contribute to OSS-related projects such as provisioning, service assurance, or system ownership

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of professional experience as a software developer
• Strong expertise in Java (and/or Kotlin)
• Hands-on experience with Agile (Scrum), pair programming, and TDD
• If no direct hands-on experience: must have deep knowledge of concepts
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Fluent in English (C1 level or above) – profile/CV must also be in English
• Already based in Portugal (Lisbon, Braga, or Coimbra) and open to on-site/hybrid work

Nice to Have

• Experience with OSS systems (provisioning, service assurance, system ownership)
