What You'll Do

Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for professional development.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence within the Engineering team.
Drive technical decision-making and architectural discussions, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices.
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define product roadmaps and ensure successful product development.
Implement and optimize engineering processes, promoting efficiency and continuous improvement.
Champion best practices for software development, including code reviews, testing, and CI/CD.
Stay ahead of the curve by researching and evaluating new technologies and trends.

What You'll Bring

5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years of experience in an engineering management role.
Proven track record of leading and mentoring engineering teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members and stakeholders.
Experience with modern software development tools and technologies, including cloud platforms (AWS), CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems.
Passion for technology and a desire to learn and grow within a dynamic FinTech environment.
Bonus: experience in the FinTech industry.

We also utilize AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, Cognito, and CDK, along with Redis and more. Competitive compensation: 3500-4500 euros Net, based on your experience and knowledge, with room for negotiation.
